Having worked in the industry for over 16 years and been mentor to many new praccies I have seen the overwhelm, anxiety and tears first-hand.

And so this masterclass was born… this is the first time I’m running it, and I hope you will join me on this exciting adventure of learning and self-development.

This masterclass is designed to help you make that transition from new grad to clinician a little less daunting and help you develop the confidence to navigate the tricky first two years.

The 6 week masterclass will include:

Weekly Case studies

You will have the opportunity to submit a case you have been working on that you would like specific guidance on- providing any testing and case information for review and guidance.

There will be an emphasis on:

General pathology testing. How to interpret on a case-by-case basis.
Creating a clear decision tree for prioritising functional testing- the when and how.
Herbal Medicines for symptom relief vs longer-term outcomes. Deeper understanding of dose/ frequency/ synergist relationships and single-use herbs.
Pharmaceuticals- how to navigate them safely.
Insights into how to effectively communicate stages of healing and manage expectations and get past the ‘silver bullet’ mentality that sees clients drop off prematurely.

Weekly Q&A

Whether it’s questions about running your business, clinical practice, or cases covered you are welcome to bring them to these sessions.

Longer-term treatment planning and prioritising, effectively communicating with Gp’s and specialists, managing client expectations and how to keep clients engaged to make changes for their longer-term health; this is an opportunity for you to ask for the guidance you need to help you step into your clinic with confidence.

When you get clinical results and know how to communicate the value of what you do, your clients become your best form of marketing. Every practitioner’s goal surely is to achieve clinical mastery and a consistent referral flow that keeps you busy for years to come.

FAQ

1. How long do the sessions go for & where are they held?

The case study sessions are 90 minutes and the Q&A sessions are 30-45 minutes long and will run weekly for 6 weeks. The bonus is pre-recorded and will be made available to you at the start of the masterclass.

All sessions will run online.

2. How many practitioners will be in attendance?

Numbers will be limited to a total of TEN praccies.

3. I can’t attend live- Will sessions be recorded?

Yes they will be recorded and made available for you to view in your own time. However, I suggest you do your best to attend live when possible. You can submit questions in advance for the Q&A sessions so that I can cover them for you in your absence.

4. How will this make a difference to how I practice?

A significant part of what I will share with you over the 6 weeks is a framework for how to tackle the practical hurdles you encounter in the first two years of practice, and you will see similar patterns emerge so that you have some insights into tackling complex cases longer term.

5. I don’t have a case to present- can I still take part?

Not everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to present a case and presenting isn’t mandatory for attendance however it is a good opportunity if you have a sticky one you need help with.

6. I’m a nutritionist or homeopath or other allied health practitioner can I come along?

No. At this stage, this is exclusively open to naturopaths, and there will be a heavy emphasis on the clinical application of herbal medicines. Knowing which herb to reach for, when, and at what dose.

7. I’m not yet graduated but will be soon- can I join?

Please apply letting me know when you are due to graduate.

8. Will I be able to ask questions or comment during cases that aren’t my own?

I’m keeping the number limited so that we can foster a supportive, open community environment. While the sessions will be structured, everyone will be able to add value to the discussions.

Dates and times will be sent out to the group to garner best overall schedule for the group.

Cost: $299 for the 6 weeks
